Oregon ACNM Foundation

2018 Annual Report

OUR STORY

The Oregon ACNM Foundation (the Foundation) is a non-profit organization associated with the Oregon Affiliate of the American College of Nurse-Midwives (Affiliate).

The Foundation was established in 2012 to support the mission and purposes of the Affiliate with a focus on the education of Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs), Certified Midwives (CMs), Student Nurse-Midwives (SNMs) and other health professionals. As a 501(c)(3) organization, we offer individuals the opportunity to support our mission through tax-deductible donations.

The Foundation is led by a volunteer Board of Directors and current members are:

Kate Pelosi, CNM – President

Happy Barnes-Light, CNM – Vice-President

Mary Koski-Vogt, CNM – Secretary

Leah Peterson, CNM – Treasurer

Reb Huggins, CNM

Annie Ziembe, CNM

Lori Swain, CNM – President of the Oregon Affiliate of ACNM

2018 saw the growth of our foundation board to 7 members and we expect to be electing new members in early 2020. The Board members have worked to understand and fulfill their roles on a non-profit board of directors and will continue to commit to board development over the next two years.
