2020 Annual Report



OUR STORY

The Oregon ACNM Foundation (the Foundation) is a non-profit organization associated with the Oregon Affiliate of the American College of Nurse-Midwives (Affiliate).

The Foundation was established in 2012 to support the mission and purposes of the Affiliate with a focus on the education of Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs), Certified Midwives (CMs), Student Nurse-Midwives (SNMs) and other health professionals. As a 501(c)(3) organization, we offer individuals the opportunity to support our mission through tax-deductible donations.

The Foundation is led by a volunteer Board of Directors and current members are:

OUR COMMUNITY

We serve Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs), Certified Midwives (CMs), student midwives, related health professionals and individuals in the state of Oregon. We believe that through professional and leadership development of midwives we are contributing to maternal and child health in our community.

We are committed to quality health care for all Oregonians through direct outreach to underserved communities as well as financial support for BIPOC midwifery students

We are responsive to the needs of practicing midwives, with a focus on developing personal and professional resilience
